This evocative sequence explores the creaturehood of stones – their emotional weight, their revolutionary yearnings, and the way their lifespans outlast our own, noting that “Nothing is less relevant than time / for the stones”. These short poems form a meditation on language and silence, and, ultimately, their entwined relationship to truth.
